Comparison of antibody response against HERV-K (HML-2) recombinant capsid protein (a). Detection of antibodies against recombinant HERV-K (HML-2) capsid protein was performed by ELISA assay for 40 seronegative low risk healthy donors (SNLR) and 80 chronic HIV subjects: 40 elite controllers (EC) and 40 viremic non-controllers (VNC). Both specific T cell and antibody responses were assayed by Elispot and ELISA respectively using the recombinant HERV-K (HML-2) protein for 18 elite controllers.
